My Reaction

As a future educator, I believe that children need to be educated in a meaningful and effective way. All learning should provide opportunity for children to learn hands on. This will provide a social approach that will allow children to work well with others and to their fullest potential. In addition it is important for children to be given experiences for critical thinking. This teaching and learning philosophy will create the balance that education should be all about. Education should provide the tools that children can use outside of the classroom which will prepare them for the real world!

Experiences with Educational Philosophy Approach

1. I have found myself more eager to learn when teachers have set a more romanticism environment which I found fosters critical thinking.
2. I have found that I perform to my best potential when there is respect between student and teacher with no one in more power than the other.
3. I have found that my interest and motivation to learn are greater when the classroom is more student centered than teacher centered.
